Connor Madden joins Werge & Corbin Law Group as a Law Clerk in May 2024. Connor is currently a rising 3L at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he actively contributes to the Sports & Entertainment Law Society by serving as Vice President and annually competes in the Tulane Professional Football Negotiation Competition. Additionally, he serves as the Business Editor and Candidacy Editor for the Sports & Entertainment Law Journal and has volunteered with Colorado Attorneys for the Arts. Prior to beginning law school, Connor graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, double majoring in Finance and Operations & Supply Chain Management.  

Professionally, Connor has gained valuable legal experience through his externship with NFL agency and law firm, Authentic Athletix, LLC., where he researched and drafted client complaints, briefs, and motions, contributing to the successful resolution of several complex civil disputes. He also brings a strong business background from his time in software sales at insightsoftware, where he developed skills in drafting and negotiating software agreements. Connor was also able to gain an introduction to legal research and government contracts and regulations during his undergraduate internship at Greenberg Traurig, LLP in Tysons Corner, VA. 

Outside of the office, Connor enjoys playing lacrosse, snowboarding, fly fishing, and improving his golf game.
