Werge & Corbin Law Group likes to remember that our team members are all unique individuals with different backgrounds and upbringings. One of these amazing team members is Sarah, formally known as Shara.
Sarah was supposed to be named after her Great Grandmother, Sarah Gertrude, who left a lasting impression on her mother who spent a great deal of time with Gertrude growing up. However, her mother didn’t want to name her Gertrude, so Sarah it was.
It wasn’t until the birth certificate came in that Sarah’s mother realized that she had misspelled the name on the document. After trying to get it changed to no avail, her daughter had to live with the mistake for the last 28 years.
Thanks to our team members at our firm, however, and specifically our associate attorney Austin Baxter, we were able to help her officially change her name to Sarah to correct the 28-year-old spelling error. Congratulations, Sarah!
